My friend and I took the Princess' New England and Canada cruises in September 2013. My friend had toured Halifax before but I had not. Before our trip, I emailed the www.halifaxcruiseshiptaxitours.com for info. I indicated our desire to join other parties of 2 to 4 people to charter a van for 5-6 hours. Lucinda was very responsive and kept communicating with me via emails. After a couple of months, she linked us up with another couple so the taxi reservation was confirmed. The other couple later met two other passengers on the ship who wanted to join us for the Halifax taxi tour also. When the ship arrived at the Halifax, our tour guide Eric had a sign of our names and was waiting for us at the terminal already. Eric is from local who is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy. He told us that if we have particular place we want to visit or we want to make a stop then simply let him know. Since no one said anything, Eric took us to places that he thought would be interested to us. We visited places such as the Peggy's Cove, maple syrup outlet, the grave site of the 121 Titanic victims, etc.. Eric also took us to his brother's house and later to his sister's house so we could walk around on their beautiful waterfront back yards. Overall, I truly enjoyed the tour.
