Had the French onion soup and it was very, very good. Also tried the pate appetizer and enjoyed it as well. Nice wine list. The service was great and the atmosphere is welcoming.

I had the suffed chicken breast. Beautifully presented. I could not taste the stuffing of brie or ham, but overall, it was very good. Excellent service. Great location. Very warm and friendly.

What a nice surprise. We were actually waiting for a table elsewhere, on Saturday night, and stumbled upon this old memory, while strolling. What a wonderful surprise! It's as quaint as the old days. The food is lovely and rustic-inspired, the service is warm and friendly. It felt like we were family.

For relaxed dining, and great value, without any pretention, this spot is a keeper!

We decided to try Le Bistro as we were staying close by at The Lord Nelson Hotel and from reading other reviews on Trip Advisor. The atmosphere and food were fantastic - apps and entrees were delicious. The only room for improvement that we experienced was the waiter was mildly abrupt. But overall great experience and would recommend.

Walking distance from public gardens.....enjoyable evening. Would recommend. Better than most of the restaurants we visited in France last September.
