“This course is pretty but always underwater”
Reviewed September 11, 2007

I have played this course 4 times in the last 4 years and have not enjoyed my experiences. The course is over watered and soaking wet and expensive. I will not go back again. As for the best courses in Nova Scotia, this one does not make my list, which would include, The New Ashburn Course a fantastic layout, Bell Bay which is perfectly manicured, Northhumberland Links is pretty and has the best greens in the land, Fox Harb'r with $1,000,000 views, Chester which is beautifully quaint, and Highland Links a world class golf experience.

Hello Daytripp-r
So sorry to hear that the days you played our course the greens were damp. Our greens are sand based and Nova Scotia weather is fairly quick to drain away. We have drastically improved our drainage since 2007 and would like the opportunity to welcome you back the next time you visit Halifax.

“One of the Best-but expensive”
Reviewed March 17, 2003

This is the best golf course in halifax and one of the top two in all of Nova Scotia. The fairways are like carpet. The greens beautifully kept. This is a treat. However you will pay dearly for a round here compared to others in the area. In summer of 2003 the cost to play was $130 plus tax without a cart and you should have a cart. So it is expensive considering the average cost to play here is about $50.
