Heard about this attraction from locals and it is good. The admission is free, the views are nice. the flower beds are well maintained and the small information center is a good place to relax and have spot of tea.

Parking is on the street, so could be an issue if you bring a car. Bus stop is close by.

We wer there after Hurricane Dorian went through and a few trees were damaged, but the gardenwas opened up within a week (opened up september 14th).

A historical Public Gardens that looked like a central gathering place for families and friends. We happened across a display of Dahlia flowers that were outstanding. There is a bandshell, small creek, washrooms, statues and ceremonial plantings (Pride and a military battalion). Very nice!

We were so impressed with the Halifax Public Gardens. The flowerbeds were so beautiful and so thoughtfully designed. They had different beds dedicated to themes which was so nice. They have a beautiful gazebo in the centre and while we were there, there was a wedding. This is a must-see and its free!

A beautifully maintained garden and grounds in the middle of the city. Definitely worth visiting and spend an afternoon

If you're coming from docks be prepared for an uphill walk. But worth it. We love nature and flowers and there was an abundance of both. Would definitely recommend this attraction.
