We were here on a cold day in September. I think we have probably caught one of the last really pretty days. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! I can't imagine any bride in the area not wanting her pictures done here! The displays were bright, vibrant, perfectly manicured. Such a nice way to spend a morning!

I enjoy plants and took the walk up the hill to the gardens. I was delighted in the flowers, trees and landscape of the gardens. It was still very pretty in mid October.

Have a relaxing walk in this beautiful Garden. Trees and flowers from around the workl with nice water features also. Many years ago there was a Hurricaine that uprooted many of the trees but the garden is almost completely restored to it's former glory.

This is a lovely formal garden with swans and many plants named, I live in Halifax and if I am visiting Spring Garden Rd I always park by the gardens to have an excuse to walk through. They are open most of the year so I go all seasons as they change. The huge rhododendrons are especially wonderful in late spring. There are free concerts Sundays in the sunmer

This is a great place to go to unwind. Although it can be a bit crowded in the nice summer months, it's still nice and relaxing. Take a little stroll, feed the geese (and get attacked) and maybe sit on a bench and read your book.
