“Natural History Yes, Costumes No?”
Reviewed July 12, 2012

Thoroughly enjoyed the geological, maritime, and M'kmaq exhibits. The "science on a sphere" presentation was excellent. As a bonus, we had a nice chat with a staff member who was harvesting snake eggs from an exhibit case.

But why would anyone go to a natural history museum and want to see Hollywood (and TV) costumes? I don't see a connection. Silly, and it takes exhibition space away from the museum's "meat."

“A family favourite”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

The Movie and TV Costume exhibit is on now and neat to see. I still love to look at the "in house" exhibits like the native artifacts and the rocks and mineral. The live bees are back in their new location and you can see them in the honey combs.

Great family trip.

“Gus is over 90!”
Reviewed July 7, 2012

This is a small museum that will take less than an hour to visit. It isn't too expensive and the tortoise there was almost 100 years old and still trying to get out of his pen. Good way to kill some time.
