The hosts were absolutely wonderful! Peter is an ex-history teacher and is full of knowledge, and he loves story-telling. Ask him a question about the area and he'll definitely have an answer for you. Loved his stories!
The accommodations were also nice, the room we had was a bit tight but it was adequate, neat and clean (we had the cheapest room). They also have a more spacious room with an oceanview for a bit more.
The breakfast was served out on the deck, which was quite refreshing, even on a warm day.
On our way out, Carolyn (hostess), took a picture of us on her porch with sailor's hats - so cute! They offer to do this for all their guests.

I couldn't have felt more comfortable in my own home. Caroline and Peter were great and made a great team!!! Peter was full of information and good advice and Caroline made sure we had all the information that we needed to find our way. On our second night Peter did a "ghost story night", complete with dimmed lights and candles...it was great!!!

We had two of the three rooms downstairs...each had a bath ensuite so everything was quite comfortable. The room we had faced out the front of the house so we had a great view of the shoreline. Both rooms were clean, bright, nicely decorated and large enough to accommodate our suitcases, laptops and backpacks. The guest area was small but worked well enough for our needs. Had a flat screen TV and a fireplace which made it very cozy. Also had WiFi which was very important to us.

Great place to stay if you want to explore Halifax even though it is about 20 minutes away by car. Take time to amble around Eastern Passage...great photo ops.

Breakfast was fantastic....first morning we ate in the kitchen which really made us feel at home. The second morning we ate on the deck which lent itself to lingering over coffee and enjoying great conversation. The food was superb ... Peter is quite the cook ... I'd go back again just for the breakfast!!!! Feel confident if you book this B and B .... it will not disappoint.

Room Tip: The room at the front of the house is great...I believe it was called the "Atlantic Room"...

We stayed here one night. It is very near Fishermans Cove which is a great attractive little place to visit - have the maple smoked salmon! Although you are near Halifax (we got a bus near B & B that goes to ferry that takes you to Halifax) you are on a lovely bit of coast. The B & B overlooks the sea. The owners are very chatty and helpful. Peter used to be a history teacher so knows everything (admittedly he says 'tell me when to stop!'). There are lovely 3 rooms downstairs all with ensuites and great for a group as you have you own part of the house. Tea and biscuits when we arrived and a lovely breakfast - all in their kitchen so you feel part of the family!
