If you want to explore a bit of history this cemetery is it. Very somber site with many graves of the Titanic victims in it. The inscriptions on the gravestones really bring you back to that terrible moment. A must see in Halifax

Was interesting to see the final resting place of some of the passengers from the Titantic. Very creative the way the tombstones are configured. I'm sure most people come just for the Titantic graves. A guided tour is available for a fee and probably the best way to get the most from the whole cemetery.

This place boggles the mind to think about some of the people who are buried here. The way the Titanic graves are arranged is a story unto itself.

This cemetery contains the graves of about 200 of the Titanic victims. Most have unmarked graves except for a small marker listing the date. Some victims were later identified and have more interesting markers. BTW, while the cemetery is in Halifax it is not near the downtown area and you will need a car or to take a tour to reach the cemetery.

Not quite like I imagined it, but it's worth seeing the Titanic graves. Apparently this is the cemetery to go to. However, the location is not quite walking distance from downtown, so you will have to take a bus or do the cemetery when you have a car.
