A very well set out cemetery. Anyone who is interested in the Titanic should not miss a visit to this cemetery. It was great to have a guide with us who could relate some very interesting stories about the people buried there.

Keeping in mind where you are, don't be expecting excitement. I spent way longer than I would have expected here. Just thinking of what life was like back in the beginning of Halifax through what has been written on the stones is way more interesting than you might think. Something special in my opinion. Glad the effort is being made at preserving what is left.

We were heading out from Halifax so we decided on the way out of town to visit the cemetery where a lot of the titanic victims were buried. Incidentally there is J Dawson buried there.

Anyhow, there happened to be a guide there with 7 or 8 tourists giving a talk, and he saw us so he motioned for us to join in if we wished. He was really fascinating. He explained many of the stories of the various individuals. Unfortunately we had to leave because my daughter had to go the the bathroom something awful, but I would suggest you see it on a tour if possible.
