Very nice inn. Free parking. Included breakfast was pretty basic. Close to many sights and restaurants. Particularly enjoyed the harbour front promenade and the Ghost Walk. Great for history buffs. Would stay there again.

Great historic property. Very clean, the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. B'fast buffet was just okay, but definitely nothing to complain about.
note - no elevator, stairs only. If you can't handle multiple flights of stairs, this might not be a place for you. Staff did offer to take luggage to room.
A wonderful place to base yourself to explore the core of Halifax. I only wish Nova Scotia/Halifax had Uber or equivalent, we would have ventured farther out to the North End. Taxis are a set $62 (CAD) per ride, no matter how far you travel.

Room Tip: Be aware there is no elevator at this property - stairs only up to all floors.

This small inn was glorious. Our room was beautiful. The staff was very helpful.
The breakfast was poor but we made due. The inn has beautiful antiques. Parking was also convenient. The riverfront was under construction and we had rain. The location was great for us. We would love to stay there again.

Great location for a stay in Halifax. Close to the airport, very easy in and out of town, plenty of free parking, and in walking distance to the main attractions in Halifax. The B&B was quite clean and decorated nicely, providing a very enjoyable stay. Our room and bathroom were rather small, but who cares, we were out on the town all day and night and just needed a bed to sleep in. My only other comment would be, if you are wanting what I consider a typical fresh hot B&B breakfast, you could be disappointed with their breakfast options. It is set up buffet style so it is not freshly cooked and served to you. There was one good advantage however to this set up. The buffet was opened for 3 hours in the morning so if you wanted to sleep late, you might not have to miss breakfast after all.
If you stay there, visit Henry's House Pub, a very short walk from the B&B. Great dinner and wonderful outdoor patio.

We had stayed at the Waverley Inn a few years ago and enjoyed the atmosphere so much that on our trip back to Halifax next month we decided to stay again. The location is quite handy, I did visit Alexander Keith's museum as this is the only beer I will drink. We walked to all sites. We also went to Pier 21 museum, my Uncle let Canada to go to war from here. Lots of history in the Inn as well as the whole town. Can't wait to go on the walks through the town. My husband went last time and cannot wait to show me the midnight walk and its sites.

See you soon Halifax
