“Enjoyed my stay!”

Spent two nights at the Mariott while attending a conference. Great location right on the harbour. Easy access to the boardwalk and to all amenities downtown. Meeting rooms had spectacular view over the water - military and merchant vessels gliding by all day long. Didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but catering to the conference was excellent so I would take that as a positive indicator. Starbucks outlet in the lobby was a popular amenity!

We stayed here our last night in Nova Scotia, just for a treat. We were tired of driving and knew we could just park the car and walk around Halifax. Our room faced the front of the hotel and we thought it might be noisy but it wasn't at all. Even with the window cracked open. The best part of the hotel for us was that there was a Starbuck's in the lobby. That may sound dumb but we had trouble finding any good coffee in Nova Scotia, so after being coffee starved for a week, Starbuck's was mighty good. The price of this hotel was way too high but the location right on the boardwalk was prime. We were also able to check in at noon, which is almost unheard of.

We stayed at Mariott Harbourfront for 2 nights during our recent stay in Halifax. The room was just lovely, with a view of the harbour and boardwalk. It was quite expensive and no amenities were included in the rate (ie. breakfast, parking, internet). Location was very convenient.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the harbour.

chose to stay here instead of my usual hotel because there was a function i had to attend being held at this hotel.
Room for 2 nights was over $500 with parking and didn't include breakfast.
View from my room was of a wall and a roof vent.
Rooms were nothing to write home about and the employees are not very friendly.
Was awakened early to people in next room talking and someone on the floor above having a shower. You can hear everything through the walls.

Room Tip: lots of hotels in the downtown area. Compare prices including whether or not breakfast and parking a...

This hotel is ideally located right along the boardwalk. Walking distance to the Maritime Museum, the cruise port and numerouse restaurants and shops. staff are top notch. Everyone is helpful and treat you like a VIP. King bed room is a little small but very nicely appointed. Bathroom is a good size. Beds were super comfy and other than hearing doors closing in the hall, it was very quiet. Restaurants are excellent.. The main dining room serves much of the same as the pub so if you want to have a quieter dinner yet still affordable,go there. Pool and hot tub wonderful after a long day on your feet. I would not consider another property in Halifax!

i am in my 50's and travel extensively.i just stayed in 332 on oct.13.my 90 year old mother wanted to stay here and go to the casino for her bday.i booked online and paid extra to stay at this hotel for convenience.i phoned the hotel to request 2 bed wheelchair accessible.got there no such room available.anyway the elevator broke down and my mom had to stand for at least 35 minutes.we got off the elevator and she was so exhausted she couldn't go to the casino.the night manager made a silly joke about us being stranded,no apology no nothing.our long awaited night of fun was ruined.next time have some consideration we weren't a bunch of teenagers who might of found the whole experience exciting.you could have reached out but i was embarassed for your lack of empathy and professionalism.shame on you

Our first stop on our East Coast tour has Halifax. When presented with the option I always stay at a Marriot. The Harbour Front Marriot specifically had the best view, obviously the Harbour, but was also located on the wharf where the tourist shops and pubs are located. Being able to walk quickly to everywhere saved time and money on cabs. The room was as good as the name suggests. The breakfast buffet is a delicious way to start any travel day. The check in/out was quick and courteous. The only issue that detracted from the hotel was the high cost of parking onsite. Aside from that a fantastic hotel in Halifax.

Room Tip: Pay for the Harbour view room, worth it as the sun sets.
