“Beautiful walking paths through both forested paths and ocean trails. It is very accessible.”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

There are routes for all levels of fitness. The walk along the water is breath taking. There are paths for those walking dogs and there are areas that are dog free. There is a beach with life guards on duty for anyone wishing to swim in the Harbour. There are washrooms in atleast 2 areas. I would like to see a water fountain.

“Great place to run in south of Halifax”
Reviewed July 25, 2014

Point pleasant park is a great place for an easy run with a few easy hills available if so desired. One can run around the perimeter of the park and enjoy the views of the water or follow many of the interior paths.
The park is full of dogs and their owners; there are several off leash areas for them. Every time I've run in PPP, the dogs have been very well behaved and respectful towards runners.

For for a run, for a bike ride, walk the dog, lounge on the grass, take a hike, play with the kids: you can get out of the city without actually leaving the city!!

“Great Park”
Reviewed July 14, 2014

With ocean, lots of trees, and historic sites, Point Pleasant Park is a perfect place to relax for a weekend afternoon. It is also a great place for a lot of joggers and runners. The only complain I have is, too many motorcyclists like here too and they always make very annoying noises.

“Pleasant afternoon”
Reviewed July 11, 2014

We biked from the harbour to Point Pleasant Park. We rented our bikes from I Love Bikes on the harbour. The park offers great views onto the water and provides a quiet place to watch the sail boats. There are several trails throughout the park and lots of benches to sit and relax. It is really easy to bike to the park and from there to the Citadel.
