Worth the visit, especially if you had relatives arriving from Europe in the early days. Charming design and lots of interaction.

“Moving trip down memory lane”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2012

Had the place to myself almost when i was there. As a (recent) immigrant to Canada, I found the stories of the new arrivals hit a nerve, but i think most would find it quite moving and educational. It is, after-all, a snapshot of how Canada has developed over the years. Definitely worth an afternoon's visit.

It was very interesting for us as Australians to see the similarities between Canadian and Australian immigration.

“Immersed in History”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2012

The guides really make this tour come alive. If you're lucky enough, your guide will even be someone who immigrated through Pier 21 themselves! Their film is fantastic as well.
