We 'fell' on this place because our recommended venue was closed as it was Labour day. What luck, what a find! Great food at very reasonable prices with great service from friendly staff and Anna herself. Would recommend this establishment without any reservations

We went for breakfast here because of the reviews and are so glad we did! The food is very good, reasonably priced and the staff is very warm and friendly. We will definitely return next time we're in Halifax!

We were looking for a breakfast in Halifax and walked by Anna's Cafe and Grill and decided to go in and boy are we glad we did. It is a small cozy place that served a wonderful homemade breakfast at a very very good price by wonderful people.
It was intimate and we had to share tables with other travelers but it only added to the fun and relaxed atmosphere where we shared stories and a suggested places to visit in Nova Scotia.
The meal was great nicely cooked and not overwhelming in fried potatoes like some restaurants who fill up the plate with them make it seem "fuller" and you waste a lot of it. Wish we could have stayed for more meals as we were impressed but had to head out to our next destination. We would highly recommend Anna's Cafe and Grill to anyone looking for a good home cooked meal while in Halifax.

Five of us walked into the Cafe 12:15. Three of us were craving breakfast. The owner (i think) pointed to the sign indicating breakfast isn't served after 12. But, offered to personally cook us our meals (not recommending this, but just shows the quality of service and the sense of ownership). The food was incredible delicious and plentiful. HIGHLY recommend this cafe to anyone for breakfast or lunch. Excellent prices. Upload a photo.

This is your local greasy spoon serving up inexpensive excellent breakfasts. Coffee is very good and unlimited. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You order at the counter and they deliver it to your table. It is a fairly small place. Lots of food and not expensive.
