“Incredible food”
Reviewed July 27, 2013

Don't let the size of the joint or the word "cafe" fool you--this is excellent food lovingly cooked.

There are only a handful of tables, so make a reservation. Tony had a table all set up for me at both dinner and breakfast (I was staying at their inn, The Holdsworth House; breakfast is included, and dinner is an additional cost). I got a lot of personal attention, and when Margaret had a moment to wipe her brow and come out of the kitchen, she stopped by each table to see how people were doing.

Dinner: perfectly pan-seared scallops with grilled veggies and new potatoes. Dessert: an ice cream sandwich that required a spoon. Yum! I took the long walk back to the inn to work some of that dinner off!

The next morning's breakfast: French toast with blueberries and homemade sausage.

All of this with water views over the harbor. Absolutely perfect.

“Great meal in Digby”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

Do not be deceived by the bakery/cafe name. Four of us had a beautiful dinner at Mag Pyes. The scallop ceviche was literally beautiful, and delicious. Those who had mussels thought they were plump, fresh, delicious. Mains were great, with wonderful veggies. It's a small venue, very funky and fun, with excellent service. Highly recommended!! Best by far we had in Digby. Not to be missed.

“A delicious twist to Maritime cusine - fish tacos (fresh haddock)”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

Based on the few 5 star reviews from Trip Advisor, we thought we'd try out Mag Pyes for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised at this cafe in Digby - friendly owners offering a delicious twist to seafood chowder and fresh haddock. If were were in town longer, we definitely would have come back for dinner! We'll keep them in mind the next time around for sure.

Wonderful service, great food, nice setting. It is nice to take your own wine and pay a small corkage fee. We will return when in the area!

“Delicious meals and good time with amazing people”

Excellent food and friendly people. Plates were generous, full of fresh homemade products, prepared by a lovely team. I had more than I could actually eat. It was out of this world! Thank you!
