“Great Shopping!”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

Whether you're shopping bulk at Costco, wanting a new outfit from Marshall's, need something for your home at Bouclair's, or having an excellent meal at Moxie's, Dartmouth Crossing is very diverse. There's lots of sidewalks to walk from Home Depot on one end, to the movie theatres at the other end. You can find just about anything you need. There's even a hotel. It really is a great place to shop. And Micmac mall is only a few minutes drive away!

“Well Planned”
Reviewed December 19, 2013

The location is perfect and it is very well thought out. Many ways to get in and out from many directions. Ample parking and anything and everything to choose from. It is constantly growing and adding more shops all the time. The only problem is snow removal because it seems to be poorly organized.

“DartmouthNS across the harbour”
Reviewed November 30, 2013

Dartmouth lacks the charm of Halifax. If you have the touristy sites of Halifax then take the ferry to Dartmouth. The main street has little to attract but if you walk a short distance to the west and stroll up Ochterloney St.you can find buildings off the side streets that date back 100-150 years. As in the older buildings of Halifax look up and examine the roof lines and the artisan's handwork. There is a hillside park with walking paths that gives a great view of Halifax harbour A graveyard on the north side of the park provides a lot of history. To find Dartmouth Crossing-box stores and many boutique stores-- would involve catching a bus in front of the ferry terminal and changing busses at the MIC MAC Mall to get there. An awkward trip for most tourists.Hardly worth the effort.sit at a downtown pub and enjoy the local ambience and catch the ferry back to Halifax, the return trip is free if you do it in 90 mimnutes. It's the ferry ride that is the best tourist experience.

“A street of boutique shops (shown in the photo) surrounded by national chain stores”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

The developers have tried to create a pedestrian friendly village style area in the middle of a sprawling network of roads linking national chain stores, box stores and discount stores. I do not particular enjoy shopping so I usually drive to the store I want to visit, look at what I want and drive away. Normally I do not visit the village area because the stores do not interest me.
