I was able to check in online prior to arrival which made check-in a breeze. The staff at check in was very friendly and had a good natured fun vibe. The atmosphere was welcoming and the dining options are convenient, with a Starbucks and in-house restaurant located within the hotel.

My room was clean and I enjoyed a restful sleep on the comfortable bed and pillows. I have stayed at this hotel before and will likely return when I am back in the area.

The hotel was just what we needed. We needed to send medical supplies before we left home to be stored. A hurricane happened! The front staff was great monitoring the events of the storm and delivery. They even called us the morning we were leaving home that the supplies, although late were being delivered as we spoke. The front staff also helped us store the supplies and load them to our room and then our car rental. The location was great. We took a taxi to the Citadel and worked our way down to the harbor. The ferry dropped us a 10 minute walk to the hotel, but we discovered that we could use our ferry ticket and transfer to one of many buses going close to the hotel. The room was very comfortable, beds good. Pillows were a bit too soft. The views from our balcony were marvelous. Starbucks in the lobby made for good coffee to start our days.

Check in was friendly, got my room keys, proceeded to my room on the 7th floor and keys did not work. Went back to front desk got new keys and into the room. No apologies, just reprogrammed the keys.

Room with two queen beds, fairly small room. Not a lot of room to work. Bathroom was ok size. Balcony was nice and overlooked the harbor.

Breakfast was included and food was average. Unfortunately at 0800 on a Thursday morning it was busy and although there were a number of empty tables most of them had not been cleaned.

Sat at the cleanest one we could find. Service in the restaurant was non existent. One staff member did come by and asked if we wanted coffee but did not clean the table that was obviously dirty. Juice container at the breakfast area was leaking and no one seemed to care as juice ran all over the main table. Food was not being refilled quick enough at the buffet and not much fruit or main dishes to choose from.

While this is a fairly new hotel would recommend doing some work on staff training and their breakfast area operations.

Would recommend looking around in the area before booking here.

We have been driving across country from the US through Canada and have been staying in many types of hotels along the way. This was by far one of the best! Great room, great view, professional and helpful staff, AND a Starbucks onsite for good morning coffee. Didn't eat breakfast there as it was a bit pricey for breakfast, plus we were out early to tour. My only complaint was the cost of parking AND it's at your own risk! If one has to pay for parking, it should at least be a monitored/protected parking area. Our room had a great view of the bay, although we were over a rooftop with loud air conditioner units that were quite loud!

Really nice room. Clean. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Modern bathroom. Balcony was a bonus. Efficient check in. Very odd to pay $17 for parking in a huge suburban parking lot - close to Halifax but you will need a car to get back and forth over the bridge to Halifax.
