“Perfect place for a wedding!”
Reviewed August 20, 2014

We got married at St. Patrick's Museum in July and our guests could not get over how charming the space was! Rich in history and early 19th century architecture, St. Patrick's Museum is certainly a sight to be seen by history and architecture loving folk. Beautiful!

Thank you for your review! We think that our little church is the perfect place for a wedding. The big windows facing the water front are the perfect accompaniment to wedding vows. Congratulations on your big day!

“Local history, with musical accompaniment”
Reviewed July 16, 2014

This 19th century stone church, with adjoining graveyard, offers a quick glimpse into local history and, unlike several of the nearby house museums, doesn't have an admission fee (though it accepts donations). Its pleasant, peaceful setting is enhanced by visiting musicians, including the town library's story-teller-in-residence, who, on the day of our visit, was accompanying himself on guitar to a number of folk ballads. St. Patrick's is a very short walk from both the cruise terminal and Charlotte Street, Sydney's main commercial thoroughfare.

“Charming”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

A delightful little glimpse into history. There are interesting displays that tell history of the church without being too wordy. Well done.

A great pleasure to visit the museum and see some of the artifacts there. Friendly staff who were more than willing to answer any questions. Also had the pleasure of being a guest at a wedding in the museum. Absolutely stunning venue!!!!

“Liked this Little Museum”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

Old stone church which now serves as a museum. Right across the street from the cruise terminal. Easy to walk too and a nice stop while exploring the city on foot. The graveyard is small but the headstones are readable, old and weathered. A step back in history for sure.
