“A little slice of history”

Cossit House Museum

An intimate historical immersion in the context of a local family. The docents provided a good tour of the house with information on daily activities. The Cossit House in the morning and Fortress Louisbourg in the afternoon made for an interesting day. Both were highly authentic.

This historical house is a feature of Sydney's history along with Jost House. Very quick and inexpensive tours. Also part of Sydney's ghostly evening tours at the noth end of Sydney.

A quick visit and look into the history of Sydney. It is located in a residential area and is nestled near other historical places in Sydney.

The Cossit House is located just down the street from the Jost House in Sydney. It's worth visiting both. The Cossit house is just $2 to go inside and look around. It's like stepping back in time. I recommend stopping in if you are in Sydney.

Visited Cossit House with my family and thought it was very interesting. Set in the middle of a residential area of the city it blends in with the homes on the street. When you step inside it takes you back to life in the 1700's. Costumed guides are on site to educate and inform you. The house has a 2.00 admission and a nice stop for 30 minutes.
