This isn't an amazingly inspiring hike, the only really magical moment is at the end (or atleast it should be the end, it might be in the middle if you make the same mistake I did). When you arrive, after a short hike you will come to a fork... the left or south trail and the right or north trail, do not take the north trail. Follow the south trail to the mid-point, a series of boardwalks that take you down the mountain towards the water. From here you do get an amazing view of the Gulf of St Lawrence and the Cabot trail as it winds its way south, afterwards, return the way you came... do not continue along the path past this point, it is SO dull.
BTW... its north of Cheticamp, it's not near Ingonish.
