Interesting and informative. You can help them make roof shingles in the centre of the fort. Beautiful views as well.

This site is located in a beautiful area of the Annapolis Valley. It truly shows the history of this early settlement in Canada

We loved the Fort, it was fun to look back in time. It made for a nice afternoon and we took some great photos.

When you are in Annapolis Royal you should see also Port Royal, its close by (a 10 minutes drive from the city center) and located in nice setting. Its surprisingly small but worth a visit on a sunny day. You can take nice fotos and imagine how people lived when the Fort was working.

Another site near Annapolis Royal thats very much worth a visit. Port Royal was re-constructed by the Canadian Government back in 1939-40 and has been maintained to a great standard ever since. It is worth a look to see how some of the earliest settlers from Europe lived back in the early 1600s.
