Jim and Gaya, the current owners, were very friendly and hospitable to me, even though I traveled there on business. Jim even welcomed me in at 12:30a and made me hot tea with a full english setting. I had to log on to the internet to work for another 30 minutes. They have great wifi throughout the hotel, also accessible with an ethernet cable which they provided. They are friendly, and if you are busy, they leave you alone. The B&B is impeccably decorated. You feel at home there. Breakfasts are wonderful and they are full of useful information about the town including sites to see and places to dine. Be sure to book early and look on their website to select the room that best suites you! All the beds are comfy- feather beds, down feather comforters and pillows.

My wife and I stayed at the Bread and Roses Inn at Annapolis for one night in June. It was a delightful experience. The hosts were relaxed and unpretentious. The room was clean and very quiet. The living room was actually used by the guests at night. The garden in the backyard was pleasingly designed. The breakfast was prepared to order. A delightful place where one learns about the early Acadia settlements.

We stayed at the Bread & Roses Inn in June, 2004 and had a delightful time. The home is beautifully restored-complete with a Harry Potter closet under the stairs! We were extremely comfortable. The owners were very friendly - enjoyed discussing politics about the coming elections in Canada. Breakfast in the morning was superb. We enjoyed walking about the town. Especially enjoyed the Gardens & shops. We would like to go back to Annapolis Royal and would stay at Bread & Roses again.
