We have visited the gardens over several years. It is always an enjoyable experience. The gardens are very well maintained by volunteers and professionals. There are different areas to explore containing annuals, vegetables or roses. The roses were a little past their best when we visited but were still lovely. The area with the canna lilies, castor oil plants and gerbera etc. is stunning.

Loved the veggie garden and all the flowers, ponds etc in the rest.
Been lots of times, just love it!
Depending on the time of year - the roses are great, the trees and grasses are super, and the flowers are fab. Love it!!

I visited these gardens today and had an enjoyable time. The lovely cafe was very quite today, apparently it won't be long to before they close for the season. Must admit I thought the gardens would have been larger then they were, from looking at the leaflet. But worth a visit.

My husband & I visited the gardens one afternoon. We enjoyed the beauty, the layout of different gardens and many shady trails & walkways. There was an innovative garden where vegetables are grown with some flowers around them. There were day lilies, rhododendron, a beautiful rock garden on a bank, a gorgeous garden of annuals where different flowers with different colors are planted annually. Even the grass was beautifully green & manicured. Inside the gardens is a replica of an Acadia home with a thatch roof. We could go inside & see the interior oven in the fire place. Next to the house was the kitchen garden which was interesting to see. One could spend an hour, or several hours walking through this gorgeous area. I took an enormous amounts of photos & have enjoyed looking at them once we were home.
