Was quite surprised by this hotel. From the outside, the hotel looks old and run down, however inside is quiet and quaint. Rooms are dated, and the fridges aren't as cold as they should be, but overall the room was clean, and quiet. Pool and sauna are also a great feature, and the view from the sun deck is absolutely breathtaking. Stayed at the OOI for a wedding, but the hotel was nearby places for food, as well as various beaches. Highly recommend the restaurant for both high end and low end options. Very happy with staff , prices and overall experience.

Room Tip: Suggest a room with a balcony. Otherwise you will likely get a much smaller room.

This hotel is a pleasant surprise! It is a little dated but very accommodating. The views from our room were outstanding. The restaurant was well decorated and the breakfast was delicious. We were there on the apple blossom festival weekend and had the added pleasure of sharing the breakfast room with the queen and her princesses. I didn't want to leave it was so nice. When traveling the "valley" i highly recommend staying in this hotel.

We had a party of 15, and we stayed at the Old Orchard Inn & Spa while in the area for "Mud Hero" events. We were able to book our rooms all together in a block which was nice. The rooms vary a little in size, but the bathrooms were a nice size, and the beds were very comfortable. Yes, the tile in the bathroom is a little 70's-ish, but if you are there to have a good time with friends then bathroom tile shouldn't be something that will bother you! :) The deck outside has amazing views and the pool is right underneath the deck.

We arrived the weekend that the area was hit with Tropical Storm Arthur. Saturday morning the hotel lost power around 9am. Because of this, all of the smoke detectors in the rooms were going off all over the hotel. The room attendants were very quick about disabling them. The hotel had a generator, and the emergency lighting was still available, and we were still able to get a nice hot breakfast from the kitchen, though it did take a little bit longer than usual. It was completely understandable given the circumstances! Everyone who asked for one was given a flashlight to take to their room. I was also impressed that during the power outage that the hotel was hosting a wedding that seemed to go off without a hitch.

Power still was not restored when we checked out on Sunday, but we were offered a complimentary continental breakfast which was nice.

All in all our stay was very comfortable, the staff were for the most part great, and the food good. I would stay here again!

Room Tip: I stayed in room 324 with two friends. This seemed to be the smallest room out of the block that we...

I stayed here with my grandparents for one night. It was very nice. We enjoyed the restaurant and had a lovely English style breakfast the next morning. (not free but worth the money because it feels very posh and the food is delicious.) The pool is large and refreshing but needs some plants or something to make it look as welcoming as the rest of the hotel. My grandparents loved the walk-out area just off the restaurant. They enjoyed sitting out there and looking at the lovely Bay of Fundy. (it was on the cool side that day but very pleasant nonetheless). I liked our room a lot., It had its own little deck area and a lovely view. it reminded me somewhat of an older persons taste in rooms, but my grandparents loved it and I have to admit it was nice. There are places to walk too..you can walk around a small rustic cabin area in the back and feel very much like you are in the woods. The valley is a beautiful place, and the pretty town of Wolfville is a short drive away. There is lots to see and do in this area and if you go to Nova Scotia, don;t miss out on seeing this beautiful area, the locals call it the valley because it is agricultural and is very lush.

Room Tip: You may want to try a cabin instead of a room in the main lodge. The cabins look rustic, not too fan...

The restaurant staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. The food was delicious. Sunday brunch is a little pricey but well worth it. The best thing was the incredible view of the entire valley. A beautiful place to eat dinner while watching the sunset. Recommend you make reservations to ensure you get a table right by the window.

Service was excellent and as it was one of the best Greek salads I have enjoyed. Fresh roll was a lovely touch. The pino left a bit to be desired. Would not be my white wine choice next time for certain.

The room was small and quaint but very clean. I like the environmentally friendly shampoo dispensers but agree with another review that the scent is rather strong.

I have stayed here before and will start here again. I have never been disappointed.

My partner and I stayed at Old Orchard Inn & Spa for one night during the Mother's Day weekend in May. Our impression of the place was that it was an average hotel. The entrance/lobby was quite nice - tastefully appointed. Staff at the front desk were quite polite.

The room itself was dated - older furnishings, wallpaper, and paintings that appeared somewhat worn. The room was clean (bathroom too), and the bed was quite comfortable. I liked the environmentally friendly/efficient soap/shampoo bottle system, but for me, the scents were too strong. That's pretty subjective, though, so take from it what you will. We ended up with a great view of the Bay of Fundy, which was quite nice :)

The price for the night ($106 + hst) was fair for the room quality.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the Bay of Fundy, or you might get a view of the parking lot :)
