They are the expert of the aurora plus they take really great photos of you with the aurora FOR FREE. The first night was cloudy but Raymond took us to places with less clouds and we ended up with lots of great shots. Tour was in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.

Highly recommended tour! First time visitor to Yellowknife for Aurora, everything is well organized by Aurora Ninija. Good viewing locations picked, small group and friendly staff. Guess what's the pleasent surprise of the tour? There are hot chocolate, boiled sausages or hot congee provided durint the midnight while the group was shaking outdoor under-49C. Also free shots and photo are provided to tour members whereas some other tours will charge you on each picture taken! No issues if your camera doesn't work under the freezing temperature, i still have lots of amazing pictures downloaded by the tour guide, even at better quality than what I took.

Nice and friendly staff!!! The hot sausage and chocolate provided saved us in the super chilly night:). They will bring you to different spots to see the different sides of aurora. Highly recommended!!!

We chose Aurora Ninja because our Airbnb recommended it. We booked last minute (same day) and wanted the tepee experience but it was full. They told us they could do a private Photography Tour instead. We hate mass tourism so it sounded ideal
And it really was! Our tour guide Raymond was the nicest, really helpful to set up the camera and took heaps of pictures with his camera as well (they give all of them to you at the end of the tour for FREE).
We were lucky, the sky was clear and the auroras were absolutely magical that day!
The owner David also joined us for a little bit, they were both so lovely and attentive to us, making sure we weren't too cold
We had 4 different spots to see the aurora, all of them far from the crowd (better for pictures)
I would definitely book an other tour with them in the future, recommend it 100% :)
