My mom and I stayed at the Blue Raven Bed & Breakfast, which is in walking distance, but it was quite cold out and we were glad Carlos picked us up. After a quick crash course (figuratively speaking) on snowmobiling, we both rode on one snowmobile out on frozen Great Slave Lake. Sadly, the weather didn't cooperate that night and we saw no aurora, but the cabin is a nice destination - warm, lots of seating inside and out, Carlos made DELICIOUS buffalo meatballs (killed by him) and served hot tea/chocolate.
