Took some clients out for lunch at the club and was very impressed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We all had the club burger and I have to say it was really good and HUGE, the clients thought it was fantastic as well. The burger was very juicy and flavorful just a little salty which was fixed with a couple pints of beer, and of course who wouldn't put bacon on coleslaw? Great idea!!

Less salt on the burger and I would have rated it as excellant, however I'm going there again tomorrow and looking forward to it. I'd highly recommend it!!

I have eaten at The Club twice now and have been fully satisfied both times. Satisfied by the service, the ambiance and of course the food! Thankfully the friends that I've been there with agreed that we would all share our meals so I got to try a lot. Prime Rib Eye - delish, Lobster Roll - incredible, Fish and Chips - deadly, Q.V 1892 onion rings - awesome, Lobster Mac and cheese - can't go wrong, Stewed cod alla Spaniards bay - as good as the rest, and the Honey roasted sweet potato wedges and even the regular french fries were fabulous. Check it out!

I have eaten at The Club several times since it opened, and I have always had a great meal and a wonderful time. I have tried most of the menu at this point and I can honestly say that everything I have had has been delicious. My favorite is the hamburger. I just love that thing. The filet was also a thing of beauty. The prices are quite reasonable considering the quality and the quantity of the food. The service is always attentive and friendly, even when they are busy. It's my favorite place to eat in St. John's at the moment and I look forward to coming back again!

We tried to walk in to the restaurant and have a drink and food at the bar. There were only three tables occupied and no one at the bar. The staff was unfriendly and stated that although no one is sitting or planning to sit at the bar, they would ot be able to serve us. This was the second time we have a similar experience at that place.
It was the manner which the message was conveyed that upset us.
Newfoundland is known for the friendliness of its people. This was not the case at the Club

Do bhíos ag lorg áit deas, áit áileann chun an ath-bhlian a chéiliúradh is do luaidh mo ghrá orm go raibh áit cáliúladh, ciúin agus le phraghasanna réasúnta síos ar Duckworth darbh ainm "th Club". Sin sin mar a deafá, glaoch mé suas agus bhí bord réamh-áirithe againn dun oíche, gan fadhb.

Bialann ba ea é le brath claisiceach aige. Bhí an ceol mealltach, bhí na soilse síos agus bhí an teocht compordach, gan tú a chuir i do chodladh. Tháinigh an freastalaí chugainn go luath is teaspáin sí ár mbord dúinn, i cúinne an bialann, compordach agus príomháideach. Krystle darbh ainm, bean thíriúil agus chuidiúla í.

Thosnaigh mé leis an anlann oiniún. Milis agus the, le cáis scatha ar barr agus ar fud na háite, chomas solamarch ar, deirtear "Ní thuigeann an sách an seang, nuair a bhíonn a bholg féin teann." agus Críost, bhí an bholg teann an oíche sin! Ní raibh ómós ríomh caite ar oiniún is araibh an oíche sin.

Ansin an éisc. Is Éisc na Beatha a bhí ann, táim cinnte de. Pláta lán le scealóga prátaí, glasraí agus an éisc faoi fhuidreamh, bhíos ag ól Eric leis agus deach trom é, ach bhí sé maith go leor leis an éisc. Ag deireadh an lae, ní bhain an deoch ón éisc.
Bhí Sorchadh ag ithe an stéig, agus dá creidmfeá é, an gliomach. Bhí an gliomach Laistigh den stéig. Do-chreidte! Buidéal fíon cheapaim.

Stéig Dearg, Fín Dearg agus faoi deireadh na hoíche, Aghaidh Dhearg!
Phlaosc mo bholg, thosaigh Sorchadh ag gáire agus dfhágamar slán ar an béile is deise a bhí a agam ríomh.

Lán sásta le béile agus oíche iontach, beimíd ar ais!
