This is a beautiful place to spend a day. The walking trail was fantastic. There are so many places here to take great pictures. The scenery, the trees, flowers are all beautiful. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our day here. It is hard to believe you are in the city when you are here. It is very quiet and peaceful.

They grow their own herbs for the little restaurant there. Take some time to walk around the gardens and then enjoy a really good tomato and fresh basil sandwich. You can buy duck food to feed the ducks that you will encounter on the trails. Nice for young kids, or adults looking for a leisurely break in their touring.

When I'm getting stressed out and overwhelmed, I enjoy going to the Garden. The walking trails are usually quiet and other visitors are usually respectful and courteous to the need for solitude and nature within a bustling city. The lookout point is gorgeous and there are days I'm just completely taken aback by the beauty nestled within St. John's.

It's a great place to go to unwind and spend a nice spring or autumn day. The flower gardens are gorgeous, especially in June-July, and there's obviously been a lot of hard work and care going in to making sure the flowers and the trails are well maintained and beautiful.

We loved the layout of the gardens and the variety of the flowers and trees. I especially found interesting the garden of plants that are medicinal and what aliments they cure. It was great to be able to take one of the paths and walk to a pond and see the ducks. We ran out of time! So I recommend setting aside a full afternoon if you want to see the whole area. The gift shop is very good and has some unique gift ideas.

Beautiful selection of plants and flowers. The trails are lovely and well maintained. I arrived about an hour before closing, which was definitely not enough time to see everything.
