I definitely was not expecting this to be quite so spectacular. The botanical gardens are amongst the most magnificent I have ever seen. Delightful way to spend a leisurely hour or two. The cafe is charming with sinfully good food.

Where good shoes if you want to get up to the look out but the view is worth it. Lovely tranquil places to stop and listen to nature. The rock gardens are awesome, will visit again for sure.

Have visited the Botanical Garden several times and it's so very peaceful, informative and filled with interesting displays for all occasions. Great for people of all ages....kids just love it during all seasons. Volunteers will take you on guided tours outside where they have reading sessions, identifying objects on the trails, etc. Inside they have a science lab wtih turtle tanks, crafts, experiments. The gardens start to flouish in the spring throughout the fall with plantings that started in the late 60's early 70's!
My only dislike would the menu cost in the cafe....suggest you bring along a snack/beverage (there are picnic tables on the grounds).
