Lots of history on 2 levels and we only saw 1 movie as we arrived late, but it was about butterflies and how they are tracked and excellent must see for all ages...as long as you can wear the glasses.

I've been to much better science centers. But this is a worthwhile visit when in St John's, especially if with kids. This is built into the mountain and has various special exhibits, such as the Titanic. I attended for a gala dinner which was fun and different.

This Centre should not be missed. Anyone with the slightest interest in Geology, or the formation of the earth, or the geological record will be astounded by the presentations and displays in this gem situated half way up Signal Hill.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I went to the Geo Centre. It had excellent exhibits, lots to see and touch and hear. Great place to bring the kids or just the adults. You need several hours.

We stopped in after our visit to Signal Hill, and initially were a little put off at the admission price - seemed high but with some reluctance we paid and entered. Our opinion changed immediately upon exiting the elevator - WOW! We spent hours and left feeling we could have spent many more. Leave time to watch all of the films - simply great. The exhibits are fascinating and educational.

Our opinion on leaving was that the Geo Centre is worth every penny of the admission price - a real gem.
