“Wonderful Trail - A must see”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

This was a highlight of the trip. The flowers were in full bloom, and the views of the river were delightful. There were lots of places to take pictures, have a picnic and to have a sit down and relax. You could spend a couple of hours just wandering around and enjoying the quiet.

“The river running through St. John's”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

It is hard to believe that such a bucolic 'country walk' can be found a twenty five minute walk from downtown St. John's. If you start at Memorial Dominion it is an uphill walk beside the bubbling stream/river past grand homes, tennis courts, a ball park and a lovely waterfall to near to Memorial University. Allow an hour for the walk itself.

“Rainy walk!”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

We walked to Quidi Vidi along the Rennie's River Trail and Quidi Vidi Lake Trail. Lovely walk. We managed to get caught in a bit of a downpour but that was okay! took approx. 1 hour.

“A relaxing walk along a charming river”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

I walk the Trail frequently. It never fails to charm with the meandering path along a beautiful river. The peace and quiet and the flowers add to its charm. Walk it!

“Lovely trail in the Heart of the City”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

Walking along the trail, along side home, backyards and the river, is a great way to see and feel the heart of the city. You can pick it up by the university and follow it all the way down to Quidi Vidi lake. There you can also walk around the lake and see Quidi Vidi village and local home brewery (if you have walked up a thirst). Enjoy this quiet and relaxing stroll.
