“Atlantic Canada superstar”
Reviewed March 8, 2013

In a span of two years Raymond's has become one of the top restaurants in Canada.
This is a well deserved accolade. The food is superb, but it is the people who work there that makes it an exceptional restaurant. Every one From the manager/sommelier ( Jeremy Bonia )to Ryan in the lounge and every member of the wait staff works hard to make the experienceat the restaurant very special from every aspect and to the minute details.
We all go to restaurants for the good food and wine, but the whole experience is what set them apart and make a restaurant such as Raymons memorable

“Over priced”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

I enjoyed the service and decor however the food is not a unique dining experience and is very over priced. I found it to be a bit pretentious.

“A must in St-John's”

A must stop when in St-John's if you are looking for the best fish in Canada! Sit at the bar if you are traveling alone for business, the staff is very welcoming.

“Celiac who experienced gluten contamination!”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

My husband and I went to Raymond's, for the first time and we were anxious to go, for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was the worst decision we could have ever made!! Not only was the food at best ok, but I was served the incorrect dish that contained 'crumbs', and not until we questioned the waiter after eating half of it, we discovered this mistake. I was not greeted by a manager, owner, chef, NOONE... to be given an apology at the least!! So $400 later...yup...$400...for a meal that made me sick, I have still received no phone call, no email, NOTHING!!! So please keep this in mind when dining....especially if you have a gluten allergy, ANY allergy or are Celiac!
