“This attraction has seen better times...”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

I had not been here for years and the place seems to have fallen behind on maintenance. I was disappointed because my memory of this place was very different than my experience this time around. On the plus side the downstairs staff person was very attentive to my three year old and let her hold the frog and toad.

“Fluvarium-a view on the river”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

When we saw this museum on river ecology back in 2006 we really enjoyed it. This time it seemed there was almost nothing to look at. Very few fish in the tanks, etc. Even stopping to read all of the plaques, we were in and out in 15 minutes. Definitely not worth the $7 admission.

A particularly good view of the ecosystem of a river. Live trout and other fish in their natural habitat.

“Good for little kids & if in area”
Reviewed July 20, 2012

The view of the underwater stream is definitely the highlight of the visit. The staff is helpful and came around and individually explained much about the area and the animals. Certainly worthwhile for little ones and I know know the difference between a swamp, bog & marsh, but I'm not sure I'd recommend going if you weren't in the area.
