I enjoyed the underwater areas and learning about the fish ladders and the trout, along with the exhibits about water usage and the area. However, I couldn't help to think that there was just so much more that they could have done with the facility.

The entrance fee ($7) is probably a couple of dollars over what the price point should be for an exhibit for this size and interest level, although the kids who were there loved it.

All in all, an interesting diversion for 20-30 minutes, but it's not a trip highlight.

The weather has been extra cold and rainy this week in St. John's, so we were looking for places to take our 4 year old son. He loved the Fluvarium. I was pleasantly surprised having been there before on previous trips - it's a great place for a 4 year old. Lots of things to see. He really enjoyed the exhibits, and didn't want to leave.

Much to my surprise, we easily spent an hour there, and then had to persuade the little guy it was time to leave. I don't know how much he'll enjoy it as he gets older, but it's just about perfect right now.

We went around 2 pm on a Saturday in early June. There were lots of trout - very small to very large, close to the window and easy to see. You get to look at the riverbed - the rocks, the underwater plants, the fish etc. I know some people did not enjoy it but it was one of our favourite attractions. There are other indoor aquariums with froggs, eels, other fish, etc. The staff was friendly a well. $7 each - was worth it!

Very disappointed. There were only about 5 fish in there and 4 frogs. All the windows were dirty as well. Not worth the $7 entry fee at all.

A great location for an event. Nice view of Pippy Park and great food options.
