My 3rd visit and can't wait to go again! Next time will add one of their pkgs to the room! I would recommend this B & B to everyone! Rooms are quite nice and service is wonderful. You can even have breakfast delivered to your room!

Room Tip: Parker Suite is gorgeous!

My husband and I have stayed in several places on our anniversary but now that we have been to Leaside we will not stay anywhere else. It was clean and well worth the money. Also the people were very friendly.

My wife and I spent four days here at the beginning of a three week tour of 'The Rock'. We stayed in the Port Royal room. The room was spectacular, large, beautifully decorated, and with all the amenities. The entire building is a showpiece - I must have taken 30 photographs of our room, the interior and exterior of the building. The staff were most friendly and helpful. On arrival we were offered a cup of tea which was delivered to our room while we unpacked. The breakfast room has one large table which everyone sits around - a great way to meet your neighbors! The breakfast is generous and sets you up for a busy day of sightseeing. I would recommend this Inn to my best friend.

My husband and I recently enjoyed our 25th wedding anniversary in the Bonavista Suite! The Room was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. It had all the amenities we could ask for and more. It also had it's own private deck/entrance so we could avail of the beautiful walking trails close by. The staff were very friendly, polite and provided anything we asked for without delay. The breakfast we had was absolutley delicious, french toast and sausages, fruit, muffins were just some of the offerings. The Check-in and out happened so fast that I had to double check to make sure they got paid. Overall the best B&B Inn I've ever been in. Would highly reccommend it!!

Room Tip: I asked them to reccommend a romantic room, I wasn't disappointed.

Our family of four stayed at Leaside Manor for an extended weekend and we highly recommend it to all visitors to St. John's. Cindy and her team were very accommodating and friendly and the breakfasts were very good. (Thye will serve you in your room if you like, but the conversations in the dining room are fun.) We started out in one of the apartments in a house they own down the road, but concluded after the first night that the Manor House was the place to be because it has such a warm down-home feel. Cindy moved us up to the Manor House with no questions asked and made us feel very welcome. The suite we stayed in was like a small apartment. We were in St. John's to snorkel with humpback whales (see the Ocean Quest Adventures website) which was fabulous, and returning to the warmth of the Leaside Manor after a day in the waters of the North Atlantic was a real treat. This is the place to stay in St. John's. If you stay at a hotel, you will be missing out.

Room Tip: spring for a suite

We recently spent 3 nights in the Placentia Room, which although small, was good value for the money. The inn is beautifully appointed and very comfortable, and the staff will go out of their way to answer questions and ensure guests' needs are met. We had a small problem with our room and were compensated for it without even asking. Breakfast is excellent with a different feature each morning. The nearby walking trail is a pleasant change from the busy downtown area, but the walk from the inn to downtown is not particularly scenic. Our stay here was our introduction to Newfoundland and it did not disappoint.

This is an excellent option for anyone's stay in St. John's. Conveniently located with plenty of parking and lovely gardens. The room [Port Royal Suite] was well maintained and beautifully furnished and we thoroughly enjoyed the option of having breakfast brought to the room. The only hiccup was that the ensuite whirlpool tub tended to trip out but with everything else being so perfectly done, it wasn't a big enough issue to affect our overall delight with our stay. And the staff are all excellent!
Heartily recommended.

Room Tip: The Port Royal Suite was excellent but did have a ongoing fault with the whirlpool tub. If the tub i...
