this is relatively new hotel of the Marriott family. It is new and with the new design for this chain: overall is better than most of the hotel in this chain in the US. The rooms are simple but comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was better than I expected and the staff was kind and professional. It is not in town, 15 min drive, and it is surrounded by auto dealers, chain shop and a few restaurants.

This was a shopping trip with my sister & mother. Fabulous stay, excellent service...check in was very friendly and fast....room was very clean with great amenities. Would certainly recommend this hotel. The Breakfast was wonderful, with a great variety. The only negative I had was the breakfast shut down way too early!! They need to cater to their guests not their employees!!! 9:30 was just too early, especially for the summer months.

Fairfield Inn & Suites offers a fantastic selection for the breakfast program and we have extended that program with additional offerings such as hash browns and a gluten free section. Initially my wife and I plus another couple had planned to stay only one night at the Fairfield. However that stretched into two. Then into three. Finally a fourth night. Every day we toured around the St. John’s area it became abundantly clear there was no need to move to another hotel for the duration of our stay in St. John’s. The staff were more than accommodating to extend our stay each day. The front desk folks being the best. Very friendly with a smile in their face at all times. The rooms were clean and more than adequate for our needs. The morning breakfast was a nice addition. From my perspective this was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. From an economical point of view you get a lot of bang for your buck. Besides being suitable for single adults/couples the Fairfield is a great place to bring your kids. I would definitely recommend the Fairfield as a place to stay in St. John’s.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn after our flight in to be close to the car rental agency. I wish we were able to stay here for longer. Andrew at the front desk was fantastic. He was sympathetic to us being delayed and arriving at 4 a.m. He gave us plenty of details and changed our room to a floor with business people rather than a floor with families.
The hotel has a giant water slide so I suspect it can get noisy with the amount of families that likely stay there but we had no issues with noise. Breakfast was decent, room was clean, and lobby was welcoming. I have no complaints and wouldn't definitely stay here again or recommend it to family and friends.

Room Tip: Not travelling with children? Request a floor with less families on it.

What a great review! Thank you for your 5-star feedback! A long day and flights delays can certainly create frustration and I am glad to hear Andrew helped alleviate some of that for you and your family.
Our location is very convenient to many attractions in the city, such as shopping, grocery stores, car dealerships and really not that far from the airport. Thank you for choosing us as your location near your car rental agency.

We had a great experience here. when we arrived the room was nice but it only had a shower and no bath. I ask the front desk clerk Andrew what could be done and he set us up with a room just a few doors down with a bath. We were ther for 6 days so this made the stay a lot better.
Everyday Andrew would give me some advise of what to see and do and we appreciated that.

All of our King bedded rooms have showers and two queen-bedded rooms have baths. It is nice to have a bath at the end of a busy day. Andrew is truly a star and is regularly recognized by our guests, he is a great asset to our team. Hopefully, we will see you again should your travels bring you back to St. John's.
