Take a stroll through this magnificent park with rivers, waterfalls and luscious flowers in the summer. You can also enjoy a game of tennis or a swim in the natural swimming pool.

Bring your camera and shoot all the lovey fall colours. It's hard to get this nice fall feeling downtown i St John's, but as soon you head to this direction you will not get dissapointed.

I love Bowring Park. Always lots of birds year round, mainly ducks and a few swans. In the summer you can always find a big tree to picnic under or a bench to sit and read. They also have a public pool and sprinklers for the children and they have a canteen that opens in the summer that sells ice cream and snacks. Its also beautiful in the winter when everything is covered in snow. They put Christmas lights in a lot of the big trees. Love love love bowring park, its a must go if you are in town...and if you forget your bird seed theres a mini mart just up the road where you can pick some up!

My fella took me here to see the ducks. I've never seen swans so big in all of my life. It was a cold morning/afternoon when we went but it was still a lovely walk and there were plenty of fowl running about. :) I can't wait to visit during Summer months.

It reminds me of a smaller version of Saint Stephen's Green in Dublin, Ireland (for those of you who are familiar.)

Visited the duck pond to see the Wood Duck. The swans, mallard ducks and the lonely wood duck were happy enough to come right over and feed. I took my camera and got lots of photos. Good practice for the amateur photographer.
