My husband and I decided to go to Gitanos for our anniversary lunch this week. We were the only patrons in the restaurant for lunch, and the server placed us in a dark corner.
The server did not once ask us if we wanted to order anything to drink, but filled the water glasses and left it at that. We ordered our appetizers and entres and we were then left on our own. Usually a tray of bread with oil dips is placed on the table to eat while waiting for food. This did not happen. We finished our water and the server did not come to refill - instead she settled in at the bar with a cup of coffee and read the menu...
Our food was very good, but slow in coming - more noticeably so because the restaurant was empty other than the two of us. There was supposed to be bread with my meal for dipping with the sausage, but she did not come out with it until my meal was half eaten - I was close to getting up and going to look for it as she had said that she would be right back wth the bread after bringing out the entre.
