Billy's Seafood has a new executive chef as of late March 2013. The addition of the new chef has resulted in an enhanced dinning experience. Chef Axel, formerly of Opera Bistro, knows how to cook fresh fish particularly halibut which is one of my favourite fish and is usually over cooked my most chefs. Not so at Billy's when Chef Axel is in the kitchen. My son recently tried the cornmeal crusted haddock with lobster cream sauce. He loved it. The lobster roll, crab cakes and salmon are favourites as well. The crab cakes are much improved over what was being used before Chef Axel. Billy, Jason, Harry, Kara and Brendon are terrific hosts and servers. If something is not to your liking let Billy know as he will go out of his way to make sure that your experience at his restaurant and fish market is positive and rewarding.
