A piece of history in the centre of town. This Anglican cathedral is a wonder, and dont miss the spire on top!

You really do have to stop in here, if only to see the purloined crest of King George III, which accompanied the Loyalists from the Boston Statehouse to a more welcomed resting place in Trinity Church.

This very spacious church houses the Royal Coat of Arms that was rescued from Boston during the American war of Independence. The coat of arms was saved again, when a fire destroyed the original church and most of St John. The church has several interesting features which are described in an information sheet.

We stumbled upon this GORGEOUS old church building while meandering through the downtown. It was a striking and beautiful sight against a crystal clear blue sky. We did not venture inside, but truly loved seeing this beautiful grand, old expression of faith, hope, and love in the midst of this tough city.
