Friday August 10th 2012 a very reasonable priced bottle wine list, enjoyed the Salmon Ceviche, the Spanish Tortillas were okay, but loved the marinated lamb chops $30 ... Recommend Alley Gria's marinated lamb when dining in Saint John.

Food was good. Service was good. Little hard to find. Can handle large groups but you all can't sit together. Worked out fine though as we just moved around and socialized.

It is not an alley but the 3 foot gap between two buildings. Down some stairs and through what looked like a bedroom door. Pretty warm inside with one fan spinning slowly. Mussels were dressed to the hilt. That meant two possibilities. Either they were not quite totally fresh or the chef decided to showcase the spicy heat and the onion after baking the mussels to death. Margarita was two sips with so much ice in the glass. We left. It was too hot and uninspiring.

Nice to see such an amazing restaurant in Saint John. There are many tapas on this menu. My husband and I went with a large group of friends where we all shared, so we had the opportunity to try a bit of everything. There was not one selection that I disliked. The food was beautifully presented and the flavour fantastic. Not only was the food good, but the decor at this restaurant would have to be the best in the city. The bathrooms were gorgeous!

Spanish cuisine with a North American twist. Lots of Tapas to choose from ( lobster dip was AMAZING!) and our main entrees were divine, especially the lamb chops with brie. Great selection of wines ( we had the Campo Viejo ) and the Sangria was perfect! Check out the different rooms; definitely something for everyone! Lovely, clean, comfortable and DELICIOUS!
We will be back!
