So this restaurant was recommended by our B&B hosts. It was our last night in the Maritimes, so we decided to go for broke. First off - the location is very interesting - in an industrial park - very easy to miss. Kind of cool that you have to go on the elevator to the 2nd floor - and volia - you enter the restaurant. The food was excellent - excellent presentation. The wine list is eclectic. The atmosphere is extremely pretentious - the kind of place that makes you worried about saying something wrong - so maybe 'snooty' is the word. We are used to dining at 'fine dining' restaurants. This one tries so hard to be 'all that' - it needn't be like that. The food and service is exemplary - why the airs? I had the Bison Carpaccio - fantastic! My husband had the oyster app - two kinds of oysters - pricey (6 for $19). They offered a small cup of chowder which was exquisite. I had the surf and turf (lobster and veal) - yummmmmm; my husband had the duck - cooked perfectly. Excellent dessert choices. Total bill = $189, including wine, not including tip. I would recommend if you're looking for a higher-end dining experience.
