My Sister and I spent one night at the Amsterdam and found it a wonderful place.Rooms were clean and comfortable.Lobby was bright, clean and inviting.Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend this Inn to people and will definitely stay there again when back that way.An excellent place to stay for someone who doesn't need the frills of a bar, restaurant or swimming pool.

Room Tip: Rooms were quiet and beds were very comfortable.

On Dec. 3, 2012 the Gospel singing group "Sound of Men" found lodging at the Amsterdam Inn. Two members of the group have stayed at the Inn's before, one member in Moncton and the other in Sussex. The group is made up of mostly seniors, who traveled for six hours that day and had done a concert at a nursing home that evening. The ten men enjoyed the quiet location of the Inn, enjoyed breakfast, and a coffee without feeling rushed, and allowed us an opportunity to complete plans for the two concerts that day before leaving the Inn.

The decorated setting area near the main entrance gave opportunity for group photo's to be taken in front of the Christmas tree and staff were very helpful in assisting with the camera, that all the group could be in the photo. Staff was most helpful in every way, prices were competitive, with other motels in the area and we would certainly stay at the Amsterdam Inn in Moncton shout the group be back in the area again. The Inn added to the "Greatest Story Ever Told" tour being a success, thank you so much!

Room Tip: There is no swimming pool and there is breakfast, but no restaurant.

This was our first time staying at the Amsterdam Inn in Moncton - we have stayed at their Quispamsis location before.

Lovely hotel! Clean, spacious and well kept. A+ for their friendly staff who genuinely seem happy to have you stay at their hotel.

We were staying to celebrate our anniversary and their reservations team knew about that when we booked the room a month or so before our arrival. They were very generous to give us a complimentary upgrade to a suite!

What what a lovely suite it was! Drive up room with a small deck outlined by window boxes and welcomed by Adirondack chairs. The room was huge! King size bed, desk area, new tv, fireplace, comfy couch, kitchenette - bathroom was clean and very nice as well!

We are thankful for the upgraded room on our special occasion and will be sure to stay with you again when we visit Moncton! Love the Amsterdam Inn!

Our family of 2 adults and 3 kids stayed there August 24,2012. We stayed in Room 114. It was a nice room. It had a fridge but no microwave. We had a drive up room which was convenient with kids and all the luggage. Breakfast was good the next morning. The staff was very friendly. The rooms are very clean.

Room Tip: Drive up room is the best.

The front desk staff at the Moncton Amsterdam Inn location is first rate - friendly, accommodating, make you feel like friends not just guests. Rooms are clean and well equipped. When my friend and I were playing a game in the breakfast area late one evening, we were told we could have a bowl of cereal if we wanted one. Another staff member make a fresh pot of decaf coffee for us. What hotel/motel does that!!! My elderly mother who was with us had some needs which were taken care of by our being able to use the room for those with any handicap - it was a bit crowded with the extra cot, but the service was worth it!!! Jerry does a late night walk around the building to make sure all is O.K. - that was great since we were on the first floor.

Room Tip: Rooms on the backside of the building have a small veranda where you can sit outside and it would be...

The only thing wrong with this hotel is that is it not located in EVERY city I visit. After spending a week in a fabulous cottage in PEI, this stopover in Moncton was amazing thanks to this hotel. We enjoyed the family suite which was amazing for the two boys complete with a bunk-bed and WII. The breakfast was amazing and continuously replenished even thought the time to close it down was approaching.

They allowed us to check out late which seems to be rare these days. We came in late from the Casino and the night clerk offered me fresh milk for some cereal when I mentioned I was hungry and nothing seemed to be open for a little snack. I really appreciated this gesture. The beds were incredibly comfortable and overall our experience has been one of the best, even in comparison to boutique/brand name hotels.

Wish I could stay at one of these everywhere we go!

Room Tip: Pick the family room if traveling with children - worth every penny!
