We stayed here Sep 6, 2005, after a big rock concert on the Labor Day Weekend. Our reservation was for a Queen, N/S. The first room the bell boy took us to reeked of smoke. He immediately called the front desk and had us reassigned to another room with the same amenities. That room was fine. He apologized and explained that the hotel had been fully booked due to the concert, and obviously some people has smoked in a non-smoking room. I understand that this can happen, but why the housekeeping staff dont deal with it at cleanup is a mystery to me. The list price for our room was $95 plus taxes. For some unknown reason, airmiles will cover the cost of the room, but you must pay the $14.20 taxes yourself. There was a $10 fee for 24 hr use of the internet. Parking was in a pay lot beside the hotel. Front Desk gives you a pass so you dont pay. However, when we were leaving the next morning, people attending a conference in the hotel found the lot full and no place to park. The front desk was efficiently friendly. The bell boy was exceptionally helpful. In addition to changing the room, he went out of his way to get us a map and directions to the Hopewell Rocks and other attractions.
