There's a reason this place has been voted as the best pizza in Winnipeg for years. The pizza crust is kind of sweet so you know they add some sugar to the mix. The sauce is not overly spicy and the topping and cheese are fairly generous. It obviously appeals to a broad audience. It is not for the person searching for a "gourmet" pizza or some local favorite like Tony's which is topped with sauce over the cheese. It's just way better than Domino's or PizzaHut.
Having said that, it's not cheap. Anytime a medium pizza is over $20 (meat lovers) it better be good. A glass of wine is $6.75 and taxes, so come with lots of cash.
Relax and don't be in a hurry because this place is very busy, especially on game nights, so don't expect to get in and out quickly.
PS. Order the calamari, it's very well done and the sauce has some kick.
