The Sun Fortune is a clean, bright, space with an open kitchen. When you enter ducks, bbq pork, and bbq chickens catch your eye hanging in the busy kitchen space. We opt for a bbq duck appetizer, a sizzling seafood dish and Singapore noodle. Everything is prepared to order. So dishes arrive when they are ready. The duck is tasty, if somewhat over cooked. The seafood dish does not rely on squid to fill the plate but instead is a generous portion of scallops, shrimp and kiwi mussels. The Singapore noodle benefits from teh bbq in the back, the pork in it is a standout. There are some unique menu items here - Russian borsch is a notable oddity. Peking duck is available without advanced order, but only after 4:30.
