“A unique experience”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

A hidden gem, quite different from other buffet style restaurants, special chef prepares 4 different dishes on your order then bring it to the table, on top of a buffet. Food was very good, a little pricey and it could have had more buffet choices, but overall we all enjoyed it. Unfortunately, it is hard to find at first, (GPS) could use more larger and strategically placed signage on the Pembina.

“Winnipeg's Best Kept Secret”
Reviewed May 25, 2013

You might travel along the Pembina Highway and never even know that this place exists, as it's effectively stuck in a side alley with only a fairly small sign on the street side. That can be a real failing as this has to be one of the city's best Asian restaurants. The fact that it's nearly invisible accounts for the lack of popularity. I walked in at about 6 pm on a sunny, mild weekday and was the only person there. It's a complete shame that most of the food on the buffet was going to go to waste that night because most of it is nothing short of delectable. The bulgogi is the best I've had since I was in South Korea and I gorged on it to almost embarrassing excess. The tempura yam was simply the best I've ever had, and even the yam sushi was delectable. The grilled meats are perfectly cooked and served straight up which really allows you to enjoy them to the highest degree. WARNING: The pork neck soup is delicious but is served at lava temperatures. Let it cool for at least 5 minutes before you even try to put it in your mouth, or you will sear your tastebuds and not be able to savor anything else. Why this place doesn't have a lineup outside every day is something I just can't understand.
