Kids loved this, even the 11 year old who sulked all the way in saying it was for babies. We had to drag him off the front loader.

I went here with my girlfriend and her little daughter who is just under 3. While the little girl adored it, she would probably have got just as much pleasure from a public open-air playground! I think the exhibits are too 'serious' to be fun, but not educational enough for it to be a proper museum - what did all the coloured balls have to do with milk production. The most popular things like the working crane are too small and there was a queue of kids trying to use them. The admission charge is the same for adults and children and is exorbitant. The main item of interest is the big diesel locomotive where you can sit in the driving cab, but you can have a similar experience much cheaper at the railway museum in the train station. My girlfriend said that the museum used to be much better, but has now been 'dumbed down' and turned into a kind of mini theme park. Save your money and take your kids to the local playground instead!

This fascinating museum will delight those who are 10 years and younger or those of us wishing to recapture the joy of childhood. Especially interesting are the articulated nursery rhyme displays originally housed at Eaton's Department store which were a feature during the Christmas Season years ago. The life size train and engine are wonderful to view, I must admit I was intrigued by the inner workings of the diesel engine. Parents of youngsters ages 2 through 10 will enjoy seeing their children frolic amid the interactive displays and play-sets. This museum can be combined with a visit to the Forks Historic site and shops.

This children's museum has a huge train inside of it. Our boys were amazed to go into the engine and passenger cars, a real thrill for these Thomas fans.
There is a fun slide and bubble/water feature, standard vacuum tunnel for balls/scarves.
Overall a great layout and it is close to the mall so you can walk over for lunch.
