“A fun afternoon but a bit pricey”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

My husband and I took our nephew there for the afternoon; it set us back 50 bucks which is a little high for three people. I don’t mind too much if it’s being put to updating the exhibits
The exhibits were alright; while they had staff on hand they didn’t interact with us at all other than warning other families not to touch artifacts.
While we were there it appears some work was being done to revamp a few areas which did mean that sections of it were closed off from viewing. My nephew who is 4 really enjoyed the new cave portion with flash lights.
We did the science area as well but that was a little above him at that point.
A bit better food selection would have been apperciated other than the gentlemen selling coffee out of a storage room/table

“Group Dinner in the Great Hall”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

The Museum offers Great Hall to host group dinners. I hosted my group of 55 people in this hall and everybody was happy to be in the museum. The catering service from an outside contractor waqs excellent. The Museum needs to work on the A/V services, that was the only minus for our event.

“Better than ever”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

Growing up in Winnipeg meant a lot of school field trips to what used to be called "The Museum of Man and Nature." Than when my children came along it became a fun learning adventure for us as often as we could. I moved away 12 years ago and returned with my now adult children and part of our holiday was a trip to "The Manitoba Museum. We had an amazing time. First off when we got there the person at the box office asked how many students we had and was nice enough to charge our family of five the discounted price for family of four and one adult making it a $40 entrance fee. Well worth it! My daughter wasn't feeling great so we used a wheelchair which is free of charge. We all took pictures and had a great time wandering through. It took us about two hours. It would have taken us even longer had we stood in line to go on the "nonsuch."That was the only line up we ran into. All in all it was a memory worth reliving.

“The dinosaurs have arrived...........”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

Always upgrading, the Manitoba Museum is now housing a new pet. He's a bit large, but you will learn a lot about him and his cousins. Can be a little scary for little ones, but overall it is a great addition to the Museum.

“Great”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

We came to see the Hudson Bay Gallery and it was great but we also really enjoyed the Nonsuch Gallery. Our boys are 13 & 11 and they enjoyed it too.
