Named for the place where the 2 rivers that flow through Winnipeg meet. Good eating places and lots of interesting market stalls and shops. Also interesting walking tours.

Attended w/my granddaughter before and after Santa Claus Parade. Went early to obtain parking - free and had no problems. Wandered around inside and granddaughter enjoyed free entertainment as well as a balloon animal made for her (reasonable fee) Enjoyable few hours.

The Forks offers lots of little shops to get that something you can't get anywhere else, handmade and unique. You can also stroll the river walk or take the river tour or taxi. It is wonderful!
